Who will I be working with?
You can expect to work with client stakeholders e.g., Hiring Managers, Recruiters (AMS or Client) and Candidates.
Client Stakeholder Relationships
- Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with Senior hiring managers/stakeholders such as the COO teams and BU Risk.
- Independent execution of the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services to them, providing counsel, advising through insight and SME knowledge on the recruitment process. Ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met.
- Lead discussions on attraction strategies, working with Sourcing and hiring managers to correctly identify the best approach based on market and hiring demands.
- Make recommendations for best fit and skills profile, coaching hiring managers on what may or may not be achievable.
Internal Stakeholder Relationships
- Monitor candidate funnel metrics in partnership with the Sourcing team to ensure bottlenecks are identified and addressed ahead of time.
- Collaborate effectively with relevant teams, such as Sourcing, Interview Scheduling and Administration to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience.
Recruitment Delivery
- Take full ownership to ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements.
- Lead vacancy consultation discussions in partnership with Sourcing, to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers– this includes role requirements, sourcing strategy, DEI requirements, pay range, agreed timeframes, responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process.
- Collaborate with Sourcing team on the iterative process of narrowing down high-quality candidate and jointly review the shortlist with the hiring manager.
- Deliver excellent candidate experience in conjunction with Sourcing, managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment experience, from initial interview to start date.
- Support the hiring manager with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer; lead the (often complex) offer process and negotiations to close the candidate.
- Anticipate potential stakeholder issues within own area of expertise, taking action to address, and using judgement to escalate appropriately.
- Proactively manage the future demand by facilitating demand planning meetings to discuss forecasts with client resourcing lead team.
- Build proactive pipelining strategies and share insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making and execution outside of live demand. Reporting regularly on the progress of the Talent Pool.
- Share and implement knowledge gained from other teams to enhance own recruitment delivery.
- Actively participates in, or co-ordinates projects outside direct remit of responsibility.
- Outline recommended continuous improvement actions and upselling opportunities to Manager – Client Services, including quantifying impact.
Data Integrity and Governance
- Ensure that all changes to a candidate’s status and requisition updates are tracked in real time in all relevant systems (client and AMS)
- Support account contractual management by identifying and flagging scope creep.
- Ensure Data Integrity is always maintained.
- Identify and track compliance risks in line with the overall AMS Risk Management Framework and suggest solutions.
Must haves:
- Experience of end-to-end recruitment delivery within the M&A Investment Banking sector
- Solid understanding of attraction and candidate sourcing strategies (e.g., web sourcing, networking, advertising, and database searching)
- Experience of using recruitment technology such as Eightfold and Workday
- Working in partnership with the sourcing team to market map and identify candidates for headhunting i.e., proactive sourcing.
- Strong administration and negotiation skills
- Previous experience managing relationships with sophisticated/senior stakeholders
- Previous experience handling complex hiring scenarios
- Previous experience working in a highly bureaucratic environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience of working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation
- Experience of formulating complex offers.
- Experience of working with remote teams.
