Location

Overview

We are currently looking for a Junior Press Assistant to join our London team on a permanent contract.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Press team, update and manage the company website, maintain the ZHA press archive, create press reports of published articles as required, and maintain the ZHA press database.

Main responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the Press team, Architectural and other teams within ZHA
Update and manage the company website
Maintain ZHA press archive
Create in-house press archives for senior staff
Maintain ZHA contact database

Your profile

Understanding and appreciation for architecture, art, design
Desire to build a career in press and willingness to learn
Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-reliant, highly motivated to take ownership of tasks
Work well within a team as well as independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams

Skills Required

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is desirable
Proficient knowledge in using MS Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint etc) is essential
Experience using CMS (Umbraco) is advantageous
Administration experience and ability to work to tight deadlines
Previous experience in a press environment would be an advantage.

Desired skills and qualifications

University degree in relevant studies is preferable.
