Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Self-Employed Mobile Hairdresser to provide professional hairdressing services directly to clients in health care enviornments and in their homes.

We are looking for experienced, self-employed hairstylists who want flexible and meaningful work.

To join our network you must hold an Enhanced DBS or have a willingness to obtain.

What You'll Do

Deliver haircare on scheduled service days in healthcare and community settings
Work with patients of all ages, backgrounds and hair types - including Afro-textured, locs, braids and protective styles
Adapt your approach for patients with limited mobility, cognitive needs or medical considerations
Maintain infection control and safeguarding standards

What We Offer

Competitive daily rate (outside IR35)
On-going, scheduled shifts once onboarded
Operational support - you focus on hair, we handle the rest
Training in healthcare protocols, safeguarding and infection control

What We're Looking For

Essential:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
3+ years professional experience
Confident with all hair types - including Afro-textured, curly and protective styles
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Right to work in the UK, self-employed status
Based within 45 minutes of Central London
Available for regular weekly shifts
Experience working in care environments (preferred)

Person Specification:

Calm, patient, good with people who may be unwell or vulnerable
Reliable - you show up, on time, prepared
Professional presentation and manner
Self motivated and effective communicator
Genuine care for the work with an interest in growing with the company long-term
Multilingual (ideal not essential)

£150 – £180 per day (or pro-rata hourly equivalent)
