What You Will Be Doing

Carry out a range of painting and redecoration tasks in all hotel public and back-of-house areas
Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding to remove old wallpaper and/or paint before the application of decorative products
Mix and apply paint or other materials such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish using brushes, rollers or spray equipment, following manufacturer’s recommendations.
Measure, cut and apply wallpaper or fabric to walls to required standard
Carry out tasks such as but not restricted to, plastering, carpentry and associated plumbing disconnections and stripping out repairs linked to maintenance work
Liaise with Maintenance Co-ordinator with updates on progress, and make necessary orders for equipment/parts.
