Drama Tutor – Little Tanks - after school drama club in the following location:
Weybridge, Surrey
Windsor & Ascot, Berkshire
Little Tanks seeks drama tutor/s to run after school drama club courses for the summer term, to start from September with training/transition sessions in June & July.
Aims of the programme:
- To work with the children in producing a small-scale performance at the end of the term
- Encourage children to develop confidence skills
- Encourage children to develop communication skills
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Running the sessions using your own expertise and experience
- Planning weekly lessons
- Assist children with any problems that occur
- Instil and build confidence in the pupils
- Be professional and respectful always towards the children
- Set tasks for the children to carry out
- Carry out behaviour management procedures
- Ensure children are having fun
- Carry out effective safeguarding procedures
- Keep confidential information about the children and the company confidential
- Be mindful of current situations and be on hand to work in a flexible manner to suit the needs of the pupils, school and Little Tanks Company.
- Be responsible for ensuring that each duty is carried out fully and to the best of your ability
- Full training will be given

Little Tanks is looking for a drama tutor with teaching and or workshop experience in drama. Please send a copy of your C.V.
Contractual information
The fee starts from £30.00 per session plus a contribution towards travel expenses for the courses below. We are seeking staff for all the courses below, you will be required to be at the school from 15 minutes prior to the session starting. The days of week and the schools that they are situated in are:
Weybridge - Monday - 3.15-4.15pm
Old Windsor - Tuesday - 3.25-4.25pm
Ascot - Wednesday - 3.20-4.20pm
Windsor - Thursday - 3.15-4.15pm x class available
Please note we are looking for tutors to commit to all sessions of the course for the schools stated above –
Essential requirements
An enhanced DBS check dated within the last 3 years – ideally on the update service but can apply for this if need be
Access to resources/materials as necessary
Ability to travel with own transport or public transport and be based within a 45-minute radius
