Duties
- Operate pressing equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments with precision and care.
- Ensure all garments are pressed according to specified standards and customer requirements.
- Inspect finished items for quality, ensuring no defects or damages are present before delivery or storage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the pressing area and equipment.
- Assist in the handling and movement of garments within the work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred, demonstrating professionalism and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate pressing machines safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure garments are pressed to high standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
