Activity Coach / Camp Coach – Kidwise
Join our Kidwise Team as an Activity Coach and make a positive impact on the lives of children in a fun and dynamic holiday camp environment. As an Activity Coach, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for children while fostering their personal growth and development.

You must be able to work most Holiday Camps throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in various recreational activities and games.
- Plan and lead educational sessions, sports coaching, and enrichment activities to enhance children's skills and confidence.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow.
- Assist in organising and implementing daily schedules and activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow team members.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating leadership qualities and professional behaviour.
- Collect children from school and travel with them using public transport when required.
Requirements:
- Talented and able to teach at least a few of the following skills:
- Dance
- Multi-Sports
- Martial Arts
- Gymnastics
- Arts & Crafts
- Drama
- Science
- STEM Activities
- Game Planning
- Previous experience working with children in a camp, childcare, coaching, or educational setting is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and patience when working with children.
- Safeguarding, Enhanced DBS, and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual.
- Able to accept feedback positively and work effectively as part of a team.
Availability Requirements:
You must be able to work most school holidays, including:
- Easter Holidays (approximately 3 weeks)
- Summer Holidays (approximately 8 weeks)
- October Half Term
- December Holiday Programmes
- February Half Term
- May Half Term
Holiday Camp Timetable:
Monday to Friday
- AM Shift: 7:30am – 1:30pm
- PM Shift: 12:45pm – 6:30pm
Double shifts may be required, and flexibility is essential.
Additional Work Opportunities:
- Children's themed parties once a month on Saturdays (4:30pm – 9:30pm).
- Children's birthday parties on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) when bookings are available.

- At our camps, punctuality and good time management are very important. We ask coaches to arrive at least 10 minutes early so they can prepare and check in with the team before the session starts. Is this something you feel confident you can commit to?
