Summary
The Senior Digital Strategist is a senior consulting role within Celebrus Professional Services, responsible for understanding and delivering customer value from every PS engagement in a way that demonstrably underpins retention and unlocks growth.
Reporting into the Director of Professional Services, this is a senior strategic role for a practitioner focused on translating our platform and PS engagements into measurable business outcomes that customers can articulate confidently to their own stakeholders. The Senior Digital Strategist leads the value conversation at the most senior level and personally delivers the frameworks, workshops, and outcomes that bring it to life, owning the value agenda end to end: setting what success looks like, building the commercial case, and being in the work throughout.
This role is delivery role and embedded within Professional Services, accountable for outcomes during implementation. The role works closely with Professional Services and with Customer Success across every PS customer engagement. The role requires a willingness to travel to client sites across the US, EMEA, and APAC, typically less than 30% of working time.
Lead the business requirements work, own BRDs as a living document anchored in business value rather than technical specifications alone, and shape a prioritised use-case roadmap that ties Celebrus capability to customer business outcomes throughout the PS engagement.
Run value workshops with senior customer stakeholders, including Chief Data Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, Heads of Digital, and Heads of Customer Experience, treating workshop facilitation as a designed product with deliberate pre-work, structured exercises, output templates, and follow-up.
Build the playbook for business consulting at Celebrus, including value frameworks, BRD templates, workshop designs, and KPI cascades, and coach the wider Professional Services team to raise the value conversation across every engagement.
Feed market intelligence and customer learnings back into Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, helping shape product priorities, sales conversations, and the broader value proposition.
Demonstrated track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder analytics programmes across at least two regulated, data-rich industries (e.g. financial services, healthcare, travel and hospitality, insurance, telco, retail).
Methodology craft — value frameworks, success criteria definition, use-case roadmapping, and structured BRDs anchored in business outcomes.
Translates complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives and quantified ROI cases for senior stakeholders, including Chief Data Officers, Chief Digital Officers, and Chief Marketing Officers.
Executive credibility and a challenger mindset — able to hold a room with senior client stakeholders, frame conversations in their language, and constructively challenge assumptions. Comfortable building from scratch without a playbook.
Technical/Domain Knowledge
Broad use-case fluency across customer data applications, including marketing optimisation, audience segmentation and activation, personalisation, customer experience and journey orchestration, customer engagement and loyalty, and data-driven decisioning — with the ability to translate real-time behavioural data into measurable outcomes across the customer lifecycle.
Experience working across the customer data and MarTech ecosystem, including customer data platforms (e.g. Tealium, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Segment, mParticle), digital analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360 / GA4), and adjacent technologies leveraging first-party behavioural and journey data. Privacy and regulatory fluency relevant to the above industries, including FCA/PRA, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, and consent management.
Conversant with tagging, identity resolution, event capture, and data architecture — sufficient to work credibly alongside technical delivery teams without being a hands-on engineer.
