Part-Time Property Acquisition Agent (Real Estate Investment)

Job Title: Property Acquisition Agent
Location: United Kingdom (Remote with Travel as Required)
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 10–25 hours per week (Flexible)
Compensation: Competitive base pay plus performance-based acquisition bonuses

About Us

We are a growing property investment group focused on acquiring high-potential residential and mixed-use properties across the UK. Our strategy centers on identifying below-market-value opportunities, value-add investments, and income-producing assets that generate strong long-term returns.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Acquisition Agent to source, evaluate, and secure new investment opportunities on behalf of our group.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our property portfolio by identifying suitable acquisition opportunities, building relationships with agents and property owners, conducting preliminary due diligence, and negotiating purchases.

This role is ideal for a self-driven real estate professional with strong market knowledge and an established network within the UK property sector.

Key Responsibilities

Source off-market and on-market property investment opportunities throughout the UK.
Build and maintain relationships with estate agents, property owners, developers, and other industry contacts.
Assess potential acquisitions against investment criteria and target returns.
Conduct initial property analysis, including comparable sales, rental demand, yield calculations, and redevelopment potential.
Arrange and attend property viewings where required.
Present investment opportunities and recommendations to the management team.
Negotiate purchase terms and assist in securing favorable deals.
Coordinate with solicitors, surveyors, brokers, and other professionals throughout the acquisition process.
Monitor local property markets and emerging investment hotspots.
Maintain accurate records of leads, negotiations, and acquisitions.

Requirements

Essential

Proven experience in property acquisitions, estate agency, property sourcing, or real estate investment.
Strong understanding of the UK residential property market.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyse investment opportunities and assess financial viability.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong organisational and relationship management skills.

Desirable

Existing network of estate agents, developers, and property professionals.
Experience sourcing below-market-value or distressed properties.
Knowledge of buy-to-let, HMO, serviced accommodation, and refurbishment strategies.
Membership of relevant professional bodies.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
