Job Overview

Gym Café Barista

Are you passionate about wellness, healthy lifestyle, coffee, fitness, nutrition and creating great customer experiences?

Our wellness bar is looking for an energetic, friendly and reliable Gym Café Barista to join our team. We serve specialty coffee, fresh juices, protein shakes and healthy food to a community that values health, performance and wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who not only enjoys making great coffee but is also active, passionate about fitness and excited to help build our community through social media, gym events and run clubs.

Responsibilities

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety standards.
Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment with a friendly and positive attitude.
Basic food preparation skills to assist with kitchen tasks when required.
Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Good basic maths skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for coffee, fitness, nutrition and healthy living.
Active on social media and confident creating engaging content.
Enjoys being part of the gym community and is enthusiastic about leading or participating in run clubs, fitness events and community activities.
Reliable, proactive and eager to contribute to a growing business.

This role is perfect for someone who wants more than a typical barista job. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of an active community, loves helping people, and wants to play a key role in growing our wellness bar both in person and online.
