Full time, permanent working hours with no zero hour’s contracts.
A competitive salary of £38,120 a year.
Sociable working hours.
Monday to Friday 7 am to 5 pm. - Saturdays are on rotation and are around 1 in every 10 currently. Saturday overtime is paid at an enhanced rate.
Weekly pay on each Friday.
No overnight stays or nightshifts providing you with a work/life balance.
28 days of holiday per annum, including bank holidays.

Paid 45 minute break each day.

NO CENTRAL LONDON WORK

What will I be doing?

Our drivers are responsible for moving freight in a safe and professional manner from our depot to our customers, you’ll be:

Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safely secured and in line with road and transport legislation.
Delivering Kerb-side pallet goods coming in all shapes and sizes in the local area with an electric pallet truck and tail-lift where no forklift is available.
Collecting hub collection pallets to bring back to the depot for trunking.
Professionally interacting with customers with a positive and proactive attitude.
Completing daily maintenance checks on your vehicle and reporting any issues via our app.
Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow, heavy rain etc.
Managing and maintaining delivery and collection paperwork.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

What we are looking for?

Preferably candidates will have a clean class 2 hgv driving license.
Valid CPC/DQC record.
Ideally, at least one 1-year multi drop experience however we can offer enhanced training to the right candidate.
Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
Open and transparent communication both verbal and written.
You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones.
The successful candidate will be safety-focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.

No previous disqualifications IN, DD, DR or MR.

07:00 to 19:00 Monday - Friday.
