About Parents & Co
Parents & Co was founded in 2026 with a simple idea: every family deserves a village.
We partner with local primary schools to transform their spaces into family clubs — offering joyful classes, high-quality childcare and a supportive community, all in one place.
Our Focus on Childcare
Delivered by Early Years Practitioners, our childcare is built around a simple, powerful idea, which is the Family Pod.
Each Family Pod brings together three families (who choose each other or get matched by us) and a highly-trained early years practitioner, creating a small, consistent childcare group.
Within each pod, families personalise the caregiving experience. With the guidance and experience of their Early Years Practitioner, families co-design a rich, responsive curriculum for their children; they choose healthy menus, and plan meaningful outings, all tailored to the rhythms and needs of their children.
Being based in a primary school adds another layer of opportunity. Children take part in regular learning sessions and shared activities, gently building familiarity, confidence, and a natural connection to school life.
3 families + 1 practitioner = 1 pod.
This alternative to traditional childcare (such as nurseries or childminders) means that childcare is tailored to children’s needs and not predetermined by the setting alone. It also provides families with the opportunity to shape the day-to-day experience of their children. We believe children thrive when care feels personal, relationships run deep, and every child is supported to grow in their own way.
Our Brent pilot is the first step in building a new kind of childcare for families across London.
