Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heating Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, Renewables Knowledge, mechanical knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of schematics and equipment repair. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Heating Supervisor will play a vital role in managing projects related to heating, air conditioning, and general building maintenance, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the installation on large scale contracts.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to guide installation and maintenance activities.
- Oversee routine maintenance tasks to ensure heating equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate repair work on various heating units, including troubleshooting faults and performing necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safety protocols.
- Organise training sessions for team members on new equipment or procedures.
- Liaise with clients or contractors regarding project timelines, technical specifications, and progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical systems, particularly heating and ASHP Renewable heating Systems.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or managing a team of technicians or tradespeople.
- Skills in equipment repair and troubleshooting complex heating or cooling systems.
- Construction experience is advantageous, especially in building services or HVAC installations.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for various types of heating equipment is essential.
