Full job description

Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business operating within highly regulated industries, including Nuclear, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Coded Welder to join their skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a company that values quality, safety, and the development of its workforce.

The Role

As a Coded Welder, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out coded TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
Working in accordance with Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Maintaining welding qualifications and certifications
Supporting fabrication activities including forming, grinding, and material preparation
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in TIG and MIG welding
Experience working to welding procedures and quality standards
A strong commitment to health and safety
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous welding codes (current or expired) would be advantageous

Salary

£32,251 - £38,507 per annum (depending on experience)
