Children's Party Entertainer — Cheltenham & surrounding areas

Cotswold Children's Parties is looking for a new entertainer to join our small, friendly team. Our parties are high-energy, action-packed and a little bit mad — magic shows, giant bubbles, crazy games, disco, snow machines, food fights. No two parties are the same and the kids absolutely love it.
We train you in everything from scratch. You don't need to be a professional magician — you need energy, warmth, confidence, and a genuine love of making children happy.
What the job involves:
- Solo entertaining at children's birthday parties (ages 3–7)
- 1 hour magic show + 30 min disco and games
- 45 min setup, 30 min pack down (approx 3hrs 15mins total per party)
- Weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Self-employed subcontractor — we'll guide you through all of this
You must have:
- Your own car (essential — no exceptions)
- Ability to store equipment at home or happy to collect from Cheltenham each weekend
- Availability on weekends
- Confidence to manage a room full of excited children
- A DBS check (or willingness to get one)
You'll fit right in if you:
- Have a background in performing, drama, teaching, coaching or children's work
- Are in a flexible stage of life and want well-paid weekend work
- Are resilient, warm, and genuinely good with people — kids and parents alike
- Can commit availability at least 3 months ahead
Pay: £100-130 per party (typically 1–2 parties per weekend day — that's up to £260 in a day)
We're based in Cheltenham but consider applicants up to an hour away. Mileage paid.
