The Radiotherapy Service Manager is a senior member of the Directorate Management Team, responsible for the operational leadership and professional oversight of the Radiotherapy Department.
The post holder will ensure the delivery of a safe, high-quality and effective radiotherapy service, compliant with national standards, regulatory requirements and cancer access targets. They will lead on service development, workforce management, and financial oversight, whilst ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R and IRR.
The Radiotherapy Service Manager will provide operational and professional leadership for the radiotherapy service, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality patient care in line with national standards and regulatory requirements. The post holder is responsible for service performance, workforce management, budget and resource control, and the development and implementation of policies, protocols, and service improvements.
