Full job description

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakeries employ over 270 employees in locations across Cornwall and Devon and are accredited with being one of the top 150 employers in Cornwall.

We are now recruiting for Pasty Crimper's to join the team in Bodmin on a full-time permanent basis. Shifts starting -03:30 to 11:30 (approx).

Overtime is also available during busy times.

Daily duties will include the following:

Working as part of a team making and baking our fabulous pasties
Tasks include crimping, veg prep, pastry making
Compliance with food hygiene and quality standards at all times
Keeping production areas clean with adherence to cleanliness standards
Working safely with machinery such as mixers and industrial ovens.

As a person you will require the following qualities:

Good communication skills, with a good level of spoken English
Be reliable and punctual
Ability to work well in a team
Enthusiastic and hardworking
Previous food preparation experience desirable but not essential.

An hourly shift rate increase of 20% applies to all hours worked between 3am and 5am
