Maternity Cover – fixed term 9 months

Part-time – 30 hours / week

We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused Student Experience & Campus Operations Advisor to join our vibrant STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin.

This is a truly varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the centre of campus life, supporting students, coordinating activity, solving problems, and helping create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students to succeed

Be a trusted first point of contact for students—offering guidance, supporting wellbeing, and helping them access the right services when they need it most.

Driving a brilliant campus experience

Help organise events, trips and enrichment activities that bring the campus to life and keep students engaged.

Keeping everything running smoothly

Provide essential operational and administrative support—coordinating day-to-day activity, managing records, supporting bursary processes and ensuring everything is organised and efficient.

Connecting people

Work closely with staff, students, parents/carers and external partners to keep communication flowing and services aligned.

You’ll be someone who:

Loves working with people and building positive relationships
Is highly organised and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Has strong administrative and IT skills
Can handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care
Is proactive, adaptable and genuinely passionate about supporting learners

Experience in education, student services, customer service or administration is ideal—but most importantly, you’ll bring energy, empathy and a student-first mindset.
