We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Bricklayer to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a school leaver or a first-year college student who has completed or is currently completing a full-time Brickwork course and is looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Working alongside experienced bricklayers, you will learn and develop the practical skills required to become a qualified tradesperson while contributing to a variety of residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified bricklayers with daily construction tasks.
Prepare and mix mortar to the required standards.
Lay bricks, blocks, and other building materials under supervision.
Set up and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Load, unload, and transport materials and tools around site.
Measure and cut materials accurately.
Learn how to interpret drawings and building plans.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Attend any required college training and apprenticeship assessments.
Candidate Requirements
School leaver or first-year college student.
Completed or currently studying a full-time Brickwork course at college.
Genuine interest in bricklaying and the construction industry.
Hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.
Good practical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Good level of physical fitness for site work.
CSCS Card (preferred but not essential).
Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
