Actuarial Consultant – The Role:
Broadstone are looking to recruit an Actuarial Consultant with 2+ years’ experience to join our team advising pension trustees. Applications are welcomed from people looking to return after a career break, and/or who have chosen not to continue with the actuarial exams.

Through the wide range of advisory services delivered to our pensions clients, we provide our staff with a variety of work experiences within a supportive atmosphere. We will offer you the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities and tangibly recognise your efforts, with the potential for progression within the company along different paths.

Key Responsibilities

Actuarial Consultant – Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out technical calculations
Drafting reports
Client communication and project management
Reviewing data preparation carried out by junior colleagues

Your Skills & Experience

Actuarial Consultant – You:

Have passes in actuarial exams required for qualification as FIA or FFA, with an aptitude to continue progressing (or can otherwise demonstrate commitment to the profession)
Experienced in preparing several actuarial valuations and accounting disclosures
Knowledge of the main aspects of pensions regulation
Able to apply directions and convey results simply and clearly
Able to work both independently and in a team, taking initiative to progress tasks
