About the role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll join our friendly and professional call-handling team, who are the hub for customer contact within the organisation. Due to the nature of the role, the working pattern is fixed – You will need to work over the course of three days which must include Monday. You must be within a reasonable commute of our office in Bodmin.
In this role you will:
- Be the first point of contact for our customers
- Handle high volumes of enquiries across multiple channels
- Respond to a wide range of customer queries and requests
- Log and manage contacts and repairs accurately on systems
- Provide clear updates and manage customer expectations
- Work with colleagues and contractors to resolve enquiries
- Support a consistent, customer-focused service

Our offer to you
Salary: £26,696 per year pro rata (£13.84 per hour)
Working Hours: 23.25 hours per week. The working pattern is fixed – You will need to work over the course of three days which must include Monday.
Contract Type: This is a fixed term contract for 9 months due to maternity leave. Existing CHL employees are welcome to apply as a secondment opportunity, but please discuss this with your manager before applying.
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. Your base will be our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR. You will be required to complete your initial training in our Bodmin Office and attend the office for team days and for other events. We are unable to consider remote applications for this position; you must be within a reasonable commute time of our office in Bodmin.
Following your initial training, this role requires you to typically work from the office at least 1-2 day/s per week, sometimes including attendance at short notice.
