About Apacor
Apacor is an established diagnostics company with more than 30 years of experience serving laboratories worldwide. With a portfolio spanning parasitology, rapid diagnostics, environmental monitoring and OEM solutions, the company supports customers in over 70 countries and is recognised as a trusted partner in the in vitro diagnostics market.
Built on a foundation of practical innovation and cost-effective manufacturing, Apacor combines scientific expertise with a strong customer focus. Now, under renewed senior leadership and with a growing emphasis on AI-assisted diagnostics, Apacor is investing in a more modern commercial engine that connects scientific credibility with sharper digital execution.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role for someone who can blend creativity, automation and commercial thinking. You will own the day-to-day visibility of the Apacor brand, turn product and market insight into campaigns that generate leads, and help modernise how marketing supports sales, distributors, events and new product launches. You will be expected to work confidently across design, content, analytics, CRM and website channels, while helping Apacor build a more AI-enabled way of reaching and converting customers.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
AI-powered content and creative production
· Create high-quality marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and modern AI-assisted design tools.
· Develop campaign visuals, brochures, product literature, banners, adverts, newsletters and social content that keep the Apacor brand consistent and current.
· Use AI-generated imagery, video and creative workflows where appropriate to speed up production, test concepts and increase output without compromising quality or compliance.
Marketing automation and lead generation
· Build practical marketing journeys that support lead generation, follow-up activity and outreach across digital channels.
· Work with CRM and sales systems, including Salesforce administration, to improve data quality, campaign targeting and pipeline visibility.
· Help create a more repeatable engine for nurturing prospects before and after campaigns, launches and exhibitions.
Digital campaigns, website and social media
· Plan and run targeted campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, Meta and other relevant channels to increase awareness, engagement and qualified enquiry volume.
· Manage website content and optimisation across WordPress and Shopify, including SEO, content updates, performance tracking and user journey improvements.
· Maintain an active social media presence around launches, partnerships, case studies, milestones and behind-the-scenes stories that strengthen brand credibility.
Data, reporting and commercial insight
· Track performance through Google Analytics and campaign data, translating results into clear recommendations for what to scale, refine or stop.
· Produce concise reporting for senior leadership focused on reach, conversion, engagement, lead generation and ROI.
· Use evidence, not instinct alone, to shape future content, spend allocation and campaign priorities.
Events and exhibitions
· Lead the planning and coordination of UK and international exhibitions, from booth preparation and materials to logistics and post-event follow-up.
· Support Apacor’s presence at conferences and trade events with strong visual presentation, timely content and effective lead capture.
· Turn events into measurable marketing moments by linking them to campaign activity, reporting and follow-on sales engagement.
Who Will Thrive in This Role
· A marketer with strong hands-on experience across digital campaigns, content creation, brand execution and event marketing.
· Confident using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva and AI-supported creative platforms.
· Comfortable with analytics, CRM workflows, campaign reporting and turning data into action.
· Commercially minded, proactive and organised, with the ability to move between strategic thinking and practical delivery.
· A strong communicator who can collaborate with sales, product and leadership teams and keep multiple projects moving at pace.
Experience in diagnostics, healthcare, laboratory, scientific or B2B technical markets would be valuable, but a strong growth mindset matters just as much.
What We Offer
· £40,000 salary.
· 20 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays, with additional holiday growth linked to length of service.
· Workplace pension with employee and employer contributions in line with Apacor scheme terms.
