Optical Sales Adviser – The Eye Clinic, Loughborough
The Eye Clinic in Loughborough is looking for a confident, target-driven Optical Sales Adviser to join our growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Starting salary is competitive from £25 00 per year, plus an attractive bonus structure. Final salary will be discussed at interview, depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and delivering outstanding customer service. No optical experience is required – full training will be provided.
We’re looking for someone who can actively help grow sales, maximise opportunities, and contribute to the continued success of the clinic. Excellent written and verbal English is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising patients on frame and lens choices, confidently recommending suitable upgrades and add-ons
- Driving sales by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions
- Handling inbound enquiries and making proactive outbound follow-up calls
- Converting enquiries into sales and meeting agreed targets and KPIs
- Managing the appointment diary efficiently
- Supporting promotions, special offers, and customer outreach campaigns
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase revenue
- Assisting with general administrative tasks as part of a supportive team

Monday: 9:00 - 5:30
Tuesday: 9:00 - 5:30
Wednesday: 9:00 - 5:30
Thursday: 9:00 - 5:30
Friday: 9:00 - 5:30
Saturday: 9:00 - 5:30
Sunday: 10:00 - 4:30
Experience:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a sales-focused role
- Proven track record of working to targets and achieving KPIs
Personal qualities:
- Confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Commercially aware with a strong sales mindset
- Professional and friendly with an excellent telephone manner
- Comfortable engaging customers and closing sales
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Open to learning and adapting to new processes
- Team player who thrives in a busy environment
