Full job description

Right at Home Loughborough are a quality, local homecare provider, supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and professional people, regardless of experience, to join our wonderful team of Care Assistants.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Must have right to work full-time in the UK
Be available from 7am to 11:00 and at least alternate weekends
Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own car
Have or be willing to obtain class 1 business insurance
Be able to offer flexible availability

Key Benefits:

Excellent rates of pay starting from £14.30 per hour to £15.75 per hour. Fuel is reimbursed at 30 pence per mile.
All training including induction, shadowing and e-learning is local and paid.

Duties will include:

We deliver person-centered care to all Clients. We never skimp on our calls, ensuring our Clients get the most out of their time with us. We do not tender to the local authority so avoid working in the typical time-and-task method. You will not be burned out and not expected to be in two places at once! Your main tasks will be:

Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
Personal care
Administering medication
Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
Shopping
Housekeeping
Meal preparation
Taking Clients for appointments or outings

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
