Why You Will Love this Job

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary interface between the Design Office and Manufacturing to ensure designs are optimised for production
Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage work instruction systems
Establish standard build times for both standard and bespoke products
Specify and manage tooling requirements for enclosures and generator pods
Define and improve material flow and logistics across the site
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Support CAPEX projects, including justification, implementation, and cost tracking
Contribute to improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement role
Proven ability to translate engineering designs into practical manufacturing processes
Metal fabrication process knowledge would be highly appreciated
Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong problem-solving mindset
Experience leading improvement projects across operational areas
Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how engineering decisions impact site-wide performance
Potential to lead a team
Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally
