Are you an HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new challenge? Are you looking to use your skills without being on the road? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Shunter to join our team in Derby at our Nestle site.

This is a full time, permanent role.

You will be working on a rota basis, 4 days on and 4 days off, including weekends – on a 12-hour shift: 07:00 – 19:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

Maintain the workflow of the site communicating with drivers, transport office and security hub
Reverse trailers onto bays, maintaining records of movements and trailers activity
Keep yard and traffic areas free flowing, clear and tidy in line with site standards
Operate tug in line with training ensuring safety process are followed on every occasion

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience of working as a shunter
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
