Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, supporting the culinary team, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to keep up with kitchen demands.
- Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills:

- Prior experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
