Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seamstress to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sewing and experience working in a warehouse environment. The Seamstress will contribute to delivering high-quality products that meet our company's standards and customer expectations.

Duties

Operate sewing machines to construct, alter, or repair garments and fabric items
Follow detailed patterns and specifications to ensure accurate production
Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
Organise materials and supplies efficiently within the warehouse setting
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric and supply usage

Qualifications

Proven experience in sewing, with the ability to handle various fabrics and techniques
Warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the production schedule
