Hours of Work : 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday; 8am - 3pm Fridays

Reporting to the Deputy Manager and Site Manager, the Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for supervising and leading the Warehouse operators with completing daily tasks, and supporting the daily warehouse tasks involving the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods
Main duties will include :
- Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff; allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback and training.
- Liaise clearly with colleagues, other departments and sites within the company at all levels
- Ensure all shopfloor requirements for raw materials and consumable items are picked and supplied in a timely manner and that all supplier deliveries are accurately received into the business.
- Receiving, checking, batching in and storing incoming deliveries, plus picking materials/ consumables for production.
- Paperwork should be completed accurately, ensuring correct product identification code(s) and quantities are recorded in accordance with CAA requirements.
- Ensure that any shortages are clearly identified and recorded at all stages.
- Help ensure wastage is minimised through checking material use by dates and making sure the shortest shelf-life materials are always picked first.
- Carrying out warehouse maintenance and spot checks.
- Advise on any discrepancy’s promptly, marking paperwork and making admin staff aware accordingly.
- Maintain stock securely and in good condition. Always adhere to health and safety regulations and follow established business processes.
- As a term of your employment with SWA, you can be required to undertake such other duties and commensurate with your remuneration and/or hours of work at your initial place of work and/or at other facilities/locations owned/operated by SWA
This position requires the following skills & abilities :
- Experience within a manufacturing environment and manual handling is preferred
- Excellent Communication skills – in both written and spoken English
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Has strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Is self motivated and possesses good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail, with excellent time management
- Willing to take responsibility for allocated tasks and actions, be able to work on own initiative as well as being a valuable member of our busy team
- On occasion, you may be required to undertake other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of our facilities.
