If you’re passionate about quality, enjoy problem-solving and want to make a real difference within the industry, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role

- Produce accurate inspection reports within agreed timescales
- Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions
- Support investigations into complaints and technical enquiries
- Build positive working relationships with installers and industry stakeholders
- Keep up to date with changes to legislation, guidance and industry best practice
- Represent HETAS professionally while promoting high standards across the sector
What you’ll bring
You’ll be an experienced industry professional with excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills and a commitment to raising standards.
You will have:
- Proven experience in solid fuel or biomass installation
- Strong knowledge of HETAS standards and UK Building Regulations (Part J)
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional and customer-focused approach
It would be great if you also have:
- HETAS registration or previous experience as an Inspector or Auditor
- Relevant industry qualifications in plumbing, heating or construction
- Experience in compliance, auditing or quality assurance
Why join us?
You’ll join a respected organisation at the forefront of cleaner, safer heating, where your knowledge will directly support installers, protect consumers and contribute to raising industry standards.
