We are seeking two motivated individuals to join our friendly team as Machine Operators in our factory. Initial duties to include:
- Learning from and assisting our experienced machine operators with their daily tasks and the running of production machinery.
- Running of machines including assistance with loading / unloading, cleaning and running of both automated and hand operated machines.
- Machines include bending rolls for small sections of sheet steel, brake press, drill and a variety of CNC lathes / mills. The priority / ordering of time on each machine will be dependent on factory workload and products required at any particular time.
- A flexible approach to work is key as this role will be required to assist with multiple areas of the production process to meet the demands of a variable product range.
Job-specific training will be provided and progression opportunities are available for candidates who show attention to detail and the ability to work using their own initiative.
Knowledge and experience of working in a factory / engineering or in machine operation setting is beneficial. A positive working attitude, attention to detail, reliability, good teamwork and being able to work safely is essential.
Attendance based bonus scheme is available after successful completion of initial probation period. Overtime may be available if desired dependent on factory workload but is not guaranteed.
Pay rates are reviewed periodically.
Working hours 07:00 - 15:30, Monday to Friday.
Candidate must be able to reliably commute to and from NR6.
