Your hours:
Your hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (30-min lunch + two breaks). Overtime available
The Role
We're seeking a Highly Skilled Aluminium Welder/Fabricator to join our team producing aircraft refuellers for top global brands.
What you'll be doing:
- Working with 3-15mm aluminium, pipework, and flanges
- Fabricating and welding vessels and pipework from engineering drawings
- Using initiative to assemble complex structures
- Collaborating with our design team to develop tooling that improves production processes
- Cutting, welding, and finishing to a high standard
- Contributing to Health & Safety best practices in the workshop
Essential:
· Knowledge of welding processes including MIG and TIG
· Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks including lifting and carrying
· Live within easy commuting distance of Heysham LA3
· Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
· Basic maths skills; spoken English an advantage
· Able to read design/manufacturing drawings accurately
· Understanding of industry Health and Safety practices
· Experienced in the use of overhead cranes and slinging
· Use of gas-cutting equipment
· Eye for detail and can pass product to next department at a high standard
· Works well unsupervised and can weld in all positions
· References and previous welder coding
