Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fittings and fixtures in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, alongside the ability to work efficiently and safely in a variety of environments. The ideal applicant will possess practical experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maths, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace bathroom fixtures including sinks, toilets, baths, showers, and cabinets.
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete tasks accurately.
Conduct plumbing work such as pipe fitting, sealing joints, and ensuring water-tight connections.
Measure surfaces precisely and perform basic maths calculations for accurate fitting.
Carry out heavy lifting of materials and fixtures safely to ensure efficient workflow.
Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure installations meet required standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency on site.
Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in bathroom fitting or related trade work such as plumbing or carpentry.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and fixture installation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
