Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Coffee Field Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships within the coffee, hospitality, foodservice, and retail sectors. This role involves visiting prospective and existing customers, identifying business opportunities, promoting our coffee products and solutions, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong track record in field sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, retailers, Food Service and other commercial customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular customer visits to present products, perform tastings, and discuss business needs.
- Promote and sell coffee products, equipment, and related services.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements within company guidelines.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and actively manage sales opportunities through to closure.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide excellent account management and customer support to existing clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and marketing support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM software.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience working independently and managing a sales territory.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Full valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the coffee, beverage, foodservice, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee products, brewing methods, and coffee equipment.
- Existing network of contacts within cafés, restaurants, or hospitality businesses.
- Coffee industry certifications are advantageous.
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
