Executive Assistant & Business Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)

Harpenden, Hertfordshire | Flexible | 16–24 hours per week (with opportunity to increase)

Salary

£18–£25 per hour depending on experience (equivalent to approximately £35,000–£50,000 FTE).

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional, highly organised and proactive individual to work directly with the owner of a growing healthcare and commercial property business based in Harpenden.

This is not a traditional PA role.

You will become a trusted right-hand person, helping to organise projects, solve problems, coordinate suppliers, support the launch of an exciting new private healthcare venture and help ensure day-to-day business and personal administration runs smoothly.

No two days will be the same.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys making complicated lives feel simple.

Responsibilities

Your work may include:

Business Operations

Coordinating contractors, suppliers and maintenance projects.
Assisting with the development and launch of a new private healthcare clinic.
Liaising with commercial letting agents and prospective tenants.
Researching products, services and suppliers.
Obtaining quotations and preparing comparison summaries.
Managing diaries, meetings and project timelines.
Following up outstanding actions until completed.
Helping organise marketing and business development activities.

Executive Support

Managing emails and correspondence.
Booking appointments and travel.
Preparing simple documents and presentations.
Organising meetings and keeping action lists updated.

Personal Administration

Coordinating household contractors and maintenance.
Booking servicing and appointments.
Organising family administration.
Researching purchases and obtaining quotations.
Helping manage day-to-day life administration so that priorities stay on track.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is exceptionally organised.
Loves creating order from chaos.
Is naturally proactive and enjoys solving problems.
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicates confidently with professionals, contractors and clients.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Is highly IT literate and comfortable learning new software.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
Is trustworthy, discreet and professional.
Takes pride in getting things done.

Healthcare experience is welcome but not essential.

The right attitude, judgement and organisational ability are far more important.
