Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stone Mason / Kitchen Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining stonework and kitchen fittings with precision and craftsmanship. This role requires a strong understanding of masonry techniques, carpentry, and the use of various tools to deliver high-quality results on residential and commercial projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and skilled trades to develop their expertise within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and install stone worktops and splashbacks with accuracy using hand tools and power tools
Template and polishing.
Fit kitchen worktops.
Repair or replace damaged stone worktop or coffee tables.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met within deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Assist in the planning and execution of masonry projects from start to finish
Operate specialised equipment such as bridge saws and other wet cutters.

Experience

Proven experience in, stone masonry, or related trades is essential
Familiarity with hand tools such as angle grinder & Polishers
Experience working with power tools including and grinders
Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to kitchen fitting
Previously have worked in this sector.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work

Pay: £500.00-£1,000.00 per week
