Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth clinic functions, and maintaining high standards of client care. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a solid understanding of veterinary services to support the growth and efficiency of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the practice team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee daily operations, including appointment scheduling, client relations, and administrative tasks
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense control to ensure profitability
- Coordinate human resources activities including recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff development programmes
- Implement policies and procedures to optimise workflow and client satisfaction
- Maintain inventory levels for medical supplies and equipment
- Support marketing initiatives to promote services and enhance the practice’s reputation
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a law firm
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Sound financial management capabilities, including budgeting and expense tracking
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to staff recruitment, retention, and development
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
