We are growing across Barnet. As our client base expands, we are welcoming new carers to the team, with immediate starts and part-time hours to suit you, ideally from a few hours up to around 25 hours a week, across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. We would love to hear from you.
Too often, care workers are under-appreciated. At Visiting Angels we do things differently. We put our carers at the centre of everything we do, we match you carefully to your clients, and we give you unhurried visits with the time to actually care. We believe a happy carer means the best possible care, and we pay you for time spent caring, not time spent travelling, which is why your travel time and mileage are paid on top of your hourly rate.
Some of the lovely people you could be supporting
· We have a client in High Barnet (EN5) who needs a friendly carer for weekend and late-evening calls.
· We have a gentleman in New Southgate (N11) who would prefer a male carer for weekend care across Friday to Sunday, including some clinical tasks (full training given).
· We have daytime and weekend calls available across East Barnet and Cockfosters (EN4).
· Weekend carers across Barnet, with 20-plus hours available, we would especially love to hear from you.
· Overnight and waking-night carers, locally based in Barnet, we would also love to hear from you.
We have other calls and rounds across Barnet too, so please get in touch and tell us your availability.
Pay and benefits
· From £12.75 to £14.50 per hour
· PLUS paid travel time between visits and a mileage allowance (yes, you read that correctly)

What we look for
· Kind, caring, compassionate and a great communicator
· Ideally, a full UK driving licence and access to your own car
· If you are not a driver but live within the immediate postcode area, close to the client, we would still love to hear from you
· Able to work alternate weekends, to keep it fair for all staff
