Paralegal (Turkish Law Specialist)Overview
PRIMIS LEX CONSULTING LTD is seeking a dedicated, highly organised and experienced Paralegal specialising in Turkish Law to join our growing legal consultancy practice in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company providing specialist cross-border legal consultancy services to businesses, investors and private clients operating between the United Kingdom and Turkey.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our legal consultancy services by conducting legal research, preparing legal documentation, advising on Turkish legal matters and assisting with complex cross-border transactions involving Turkish legislation.
We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical ability, strong legal drafting skills and extensive knowledge of Turkish Law who can confidently work with both UK and international clients.
Duties
- Conduct legal research into Turkish legislation, case law and regulatory developments.
- Prepare, review and draft legal documents, contracts, legal opinions and consultancy reports relating to Turkish Law.
- Provide legal support on Turkish property transactions, commercial agreements and investment matters.
- Assist with cross-border legal matters involving businesses and individuals operating between the UK and Turkey.
- Liaise with clients, legal professionals, public authorities and commercial organisations in both the UK and Turkey.
- Analyse legal risks and advise on Turkish regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Assist with due diligence exercises and legal document reviews for international business transactions.
- Maintain accurate legal records, case files and compliance documentation.
- Monitor developments in Turkish legislation and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Support client meetings and prepare legal documentation for consultations.
- Assist in developing legal strategies to support the company's international expansion.
- Provide bilingual legal support in both Turkish and English.
- Attend meetings, networking events and client appointments as required.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure efficient delivery of legal consultancy services.
Qualifications
The successful applicant should demonstrate:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent recognised legal qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of Turkish Law, including commercial, property and corporate legislation.
- Significant practical experience working within the Turkish legal system.
- Experience dealing with cross-border legal transactions and international business matters.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Strong legal drafting and document preparation experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client matters simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Desirable Experience
- Experience advising foreign investors operating in Turkey.
- Knowledge of Turkish company formation procedures.
- Experience in Turkish property law and real estate transactions.
- Experience working within an international legal consultancy environment.
- Understanding of UK commercial practices and cross-border legal services.
- Previous experience supporting business development and international client relationships.

Additional Information
This role requires occasional travel within the UK and overseas, including Turkey, depending on client and business requirements.

Pay: £42,000.00-£42,500.00 per year
