Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Maintenance
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising communal areas, toilets, and event spaces.
Set up and clear down rooms before and after events (e.g., arranging tables, chairs, and equipment).
Ensure all areas are clean and presentable before each event begins.
Caretaking Duties
Monitor the premises during events to ensure safety and cleanliness are maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to their incharge
Customer Service
Provide friendly and helpful support to event organisers and guests.
Assist with basic on-site needs during events (e.g., directing guests, restocking supplies).
Health & Safety
Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ensure fire exits and access routes are kept clear at all times.

Person Specification
Essential:
Previous experience in cleaning, caretaking, or facilities support.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
Desirable:
Experience working in a community or events-based setting.
Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts or evening events if needed.
