Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in private homes creating comfortable and welcoming environments for our clients. If you have experience in house cleaning or care work that is advantageous but not essential, as you will spend the first four 4 weeks doing accompanied onsite training with one of the experienced team members.

You must be reliable, punctual, and able to work happily independently or as part of a pair. You will need your own transport (car or motorcycle) as you may visit more than one client in your working day.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas within clients’ homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms
Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces to a high standard
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently
Ironing where requested
Immediately report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain organised work schedules and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes

Skills

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills to understand client requirements and report issues clearly
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or to adapt with another person on an adhoc basis
Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout the day
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
Previous experience in domestic cleaning or related roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for all new staff

Pay: £12.75 per hour
