We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Swimming Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and empowering next generation with an essential life skill . As a swimming teacher, you will be responsible for educating swimmers of all ages and skill levels, ensuring they develop their swimming abilities in a safe and enjoyable environment. Your role will involve creating engaging lesson plans, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a love for swimming.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels.
- Educate swimmers on proper swimming techniques, water safety, and personal fitness.
- Develop lesson plans that are engaging, informative, and aligned with the swimmers goals.
- Monitor swimmers progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with swimmers and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall quality of swim instruction.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate swimmers.
- Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Committed to completing Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualifications
