At Hermitage Dental Practice, we are seeking a confident, organised, and people-focused Practice Manager to lead our team and drive the continued success of our growing practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences, building high-performing teams, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy dental practice.

About the Role

As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the overall success of the practice. Working closely with our clinicians and support team, you will oversee daily operations, maintain compliance standards, support business growth, and create an environment where both patients and team members can thrive.

You will be responsible for ensuring the practice operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with all regulatory requirements while maintaining the exceptional standards of care that our patients expect.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support and inspire the practice team, creating a positive and professional working environment.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Manage appointment scheduling and diary optimisation to maximise patient experience and practice performance.
Monitor and manage financial performance, including billing, reporting, budgeting and KPI tracking.
Recruit, onboard, train and develop team members, conducting regular reviews and supporting career progression.
Ensure full compliance with CQC, health and safety, GDPR, infection prevention and all regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate patient records and robust administrative processes.
Manage stock control, supplier relationships and equipment maintenance.
Identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction, operational efficiency and business growth.
Act as a key point of contact for patients, clinicians and external stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and ambitious leader who enjoys taking ownership and making a real impact.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Manager, Deputy Practice Manager or Senior Manager
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
A commercial mindset with experience managing budgets, performance and profitability.
A thorough understanding of compliance, governance and patient-centred care.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence using practice management software and Microsoft Office.
A professional, positive and solutions-focused approach.
