Mechanical Fitter — London Gateway (travel-away role)
The rewards

Hours
- Monday – Thursday or Monday – Wednesday, 12-hour days
- Option to travel to site the night before
The role of Mechanical Fitter:
- Measuring, preparing, assembling, and installing flooring systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to a high standard
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
The ideal Mechanical Fitter:
- Some mechanical fitting or installation experience (preferred but full training given)
- Competent with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills, able to work independently
- CSCS card (company will assist the right candidate if not held)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling

This is a working-away role based at London Gateway, Monday to Thursday or Monday to Wednesday. The position is with a client specialising in flooring systems installation. Accommodation and meals are fully covered.
