Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic industrial environment. Prior experience in machine operation is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to high-quality manufacturing standards.

Duties

Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery according to production specifications and safety protocols
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they affect output
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement to ensure optimal machine performance
Record production data accurately and report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors
Assist in setting up machines for different production runs, ensuring proper calibration and safety measures are in place
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently and safely

Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided
Good understanding of mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting skills are desirable
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organisational skills with a focus on safety and quality standards
Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks safely
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
