Are you an experienced tyre fitter looking for a fresh challenge, greater variety in your day-to-day work, and the opportunity to increase your earnings?
Due to continued growth, Invicta Tyres is looking for an experienced Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our Canterbury team.
This is far more than a standard tyre fitting role. You'll split your time between our busy depot and our modern fleet of fully equipped mobile tyre vans, working on a wide range of vehicles including cars, vans, trailers and commercial vehicles.
Whether you're currently working in a fast-fit centre, independent tyre depot or mobile fitting role, this position offers excellent earning potential of up to £42,000 OTE, ongoing training and development, and the chance to join a growing, well-established business with a strong reputation across Kent.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. The successful candidate will also take part in an out-of-hours call-out rota, with enhanced pay provided for call-outs attended.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tyre fitting, wheel balancing, puncture repairs and related services to a high standard on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans, trailers and commercial vehicles.
- Attend roadside and customer site call-outs, including out-of-hours work when required, providing a professional and efficient service.
- Diagnose tyre-related issues and provide customers with clear advice and suitable solutions.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.
About You
- Minimum 1 year's experience in tyre fitting, fast-fit or automotive servicing.
- Confident using tyre fitting machinery and associated workshop equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence required ( Maximum 6 points on licence).
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles and working independently when attending mobile jobs.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willing and able to participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
- Experience with commercial tyres is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided to the right candidate.
- REACT Licence is advantageous but not essential.
