Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and reliable Tanning Advisor to join Tan Junkies! As the face of the shop, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and helping our clients achieve their best glow.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting customers and managing the booking system.
Providing advice on tanning equipment and skin safety.
Recommending tanning lotions and accelerators based on skin type.
Ensuring tanning rooms and equipment are cleaned to a high standard between sessions.
Handling cash and card transactions accurately.
Opening and closing the shop according to schedule.
Social media - Making tiktok videos promoting lotions and the shop.

Requirements

Customer-First Attitude: You must enjoy chatting with people and making them feel comfortable.
Reliability: You are punctual and can work independently.
Attention to Detail: Maintaining a spotless environment is a top priority.
Product Knowledge: Previous experience in the tanning or beauty industry is a plus, but full training will be provided on our specific lotions and equipment.

Working Hours

We have shifts available across our opening hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: 11am - 3pm
(Please specify your availability in your application.)

Fixed hours

Every Friday 10am - 7pm
Every Saturday 10am - 3pm
Every Saturday 11am - 3pm

Who This Role is Ideal For

This position is perfectly suited for a 17 to 20-year-old who is looking for a role with real responsibility. We are seeking someone mature enough to manage the studio independently, handle keys, and provide a professional service to our clients.

Important Note for Applicants: In strict accordance with the Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010, please be aware of the following:

If you are 17 years old, you are legally permitted to work in the salon and clean the equipment, but you are strictly prohibited from using the sunbeds yourself until your 18th birthday.
All staff must be committed to enforcing our Challenge 25 policy to ensure no one under the age of 18 uses our facilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
