Job Purpose:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Parts Manager to join our team at our Wellington branch. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing inventory as well as actively promoting and selling a wide range of Agricultural, Construction, Groundcare & Trailer spares to our customers, face to face, by telephone and by email, whilst also supplying technicians in our workshop with their required parts in a timely manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
As Parts Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Ordering parts in advance
- Dealing with incoming telephone enquiries to the branch
- Serving all customers in the shop
- Picking and packing stock and dealing with receipts of items for customers and for stock
- Advising customers when their stock has been received and is ready for collection
- Providing parts assistance to the service department
- Maintaining displays in the shop in a clean, orderly and organised manner
- Manage the parts process from ordering, booking in, storing correctly through to sales and invoicing
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing resources and staff, developing and attaining sales goals, delivering customer service, and growing the branch’s revenues.

- Plus, any other duties as requested by the General Manager
Secondary Responsibilities
These responsibilities are essential in a small business where all members of the team are required to work flexibly and help in all and any area during busy periods
- Keep confidential and company business or statistics.
- To provide high levels of customer service
- To represent Vincent Tractors & Plant and promote its brand throughout all activities.
- Ability to work hours as required by the business.

Person Specification:
ATTRIBUTES
Relevant Experience
- Parts experience
- Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices
- Background in the construction / groundcare / agricultural industry, who is familiar with the industry, machinery and terminology.
Education/ Training
- 4 GSCE or equivalent, Maths and English grade C or above
