THE NICI New Forest is opening on 15 June 2026 in Lymington, Hampshire. Set within 23 acres on the banks of the Lymington River, the resort combines waterfront luxury, Hamptons-inspired style, exceptional dining experiences, a spa, and over 80 guest rooms and suites.
We are looking for warm, engaging, and professional Restaurant Hosts to join our opening team and help create unforgettable first impressions for our guests.
About the Role
As a Restaurant Host, you will be the welcoming face of our dining venues, including Martha's, our vibrant coastal restaurant, and Elms Café, our relaxed all-day dining destination. You'll ensure every guest receives a genuine welcome and enjoys a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with confidence, warmth, and professionalism.
- Manage reservations and table allocations efficiently.
- Maintain smooth guest flow during service periods.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant and kitchen teams.
- Answer guest enquiries and provide information about menus and hotel facilities.
- Handle special requests and celebrations with attention to detail.
- Deliver exceptional service that reflects THE NICI brand standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a host, receptionist, or guest-facing hospitality role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, energetic, and approachable personality.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
