We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our friendly and fast-paced team. If you enjoy working with numbers, thrive under pressure, and take pride in delivering an accurate and efficient service, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a key role within our business. You'll be responsible for managing payrolls for a varied portfolio of employers, ensuring every payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with current legislation.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payrolls for multiple employers using BrightPay software.
- Ensuring all payrolls are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Resolving payroll queries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Preparing payroll reports for employers.
- Assisting with year-end payroll procedures.
- Maintaining the Auto Enrolment calendar and ensuring pension deadlines are met.
- Maintaining Anti-Money Laundering (AML) records.
- Responding to employer emails and payroll enquiries in a timely manner.
- Supporting colleagues within the payroll team during busy periods.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous payroll experience, or a strong background in finance or bookkeeping.
- A good understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
- Experience using payroll software (BrightPay experience is an advantage, although full training will be provided).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Good IT skills and confidence working with payroll systems and Microsoft Office.
